Since 2022, our Flow Floward program has ensured that high school graduates transitioning to college have access to essential menstrual care. Each student receives a thoughtfully prepared kit, equipped with period products designed to support them through their first semester of college.
Access to menstrual products has a direct impact on academic performance. While many financial aid programs cover tuition, they overlook essential personal care items. This can create ongoing barriers that lead to absenteeism, declined mental and physical health, and increased financial stress.
Proactively supporting access to period products is not just a matter of hygiene—it's a matter of educational opportunity and success. When students’ basic needs are met, they are better positioned to thrive, focus, and achieve their goals.
Flow Forward addresses a more personal—but no less essential—need: collegiate access to period products.
